The renovations and addition to this landmark building presented challenges which required several different types of masonry construction and restoration.

Phoenix was tasked with the construction of numerous interior masonry partition walls.

To achieve a match of the exterior brick, Phoenix worked closely with the Design team, Owner and General Contractor to color blend three different types of brick in separate locations for the desired result.

At several locations, the existing ornate granite cornice and column pieces had been previously damaged or were completely missing. Phoenix used salvaged granite that was removed during preparation for the new addition and was able to recreate or repair the ornate masonry. The result is a beautifully matched addition made possible by an efficient use of salvaged materials.
