Safety
All employees at Phoenix Bay State Construction pride themselves on our ongoing daily approach to safety. Our number one priority is that all men and women go home to their families safe at the end of each day. This is accomplished by knowing that all measures of safety and training have been implemented to ensure their well being.
We have partnered with many general contractors on numerous projects to create a working environment that is consistent with the most stringent industry standards.
Phoenix has participated in the (CHASE) Construction Health and Safety Excellence program as implemented by the AGC of Mass, OSHA and (IIF) Incident and Injury Free programs. These programs ensure the safety of not only our employees but all working men and women on the jobsite. Our employees are continually updated and trained on the most frequent and even not so frequent hazards of the construction industry.
Phoenix Bay State was recently the proud recipient of the 2010 “Best In Class Safety Award” at the Dana Farber Cancer Institute, Yawkey Center for Cancer Care project. This award was issued in recognition of working in excess of 15,700 work hours with zero OSHA recordable violations and zero general liability incidents. This was no “Accident” so to speak. We strive to be the most safety conscious contractor possible, with the safety of all employees and the public, our main objective.
